What is the Fun Run?

For those of you that are new to our SJDR family, the Fun Run is our largest fundraiser of the year. HSA sponsors this event and last year we raised close to $50,000! This year, our goal is $55,000! It is a fun and healthy way to raise money for our school.

 

How does it work?

K-8th Students will run/walk 25 laps on a set course on the field. Our Pre-K students will ride their bikes on a course in the parking lot. To raise money students, ask family, friends, and neighbors for pledges either per lap or a flat pledge.  Families can use our OneCause link to make online donations https://onecau.se/sjdrfunrun or they can send in cash or checks. Please note that turning in money is not required.  Teachers can either run with their students or cheer them on as they go.  Parents are encouraged to come out and support their student.
