Educating the mind, body, and spirit.
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Current & Prospect SJDR Families,
Let me start by sharing my own personal experiences at San Juan del Rio. A few years ago, I was asked by a friend to attend a 5pm mass at San Juan del Rio. I vividly remember walking into the church that day and being inspired by the faith of the community. After this experience, I would on occasion join the community here as we came together to celebrate the Eucharist.
Over the past academic year, I have served this community as its principal so that we may move forward together in building the Kingdom of God here on Earth and in Heaven by forming saints and scholars.
By working collaboratively, we can continue to grow our school community in service to our students. I seek to share my experience and leadership as a support for our teachers and families so that we may enhance our academic rigor and enrich our faith. My professional background has been working in a Catholic school as a teacher on the leadership team where we used data to inform our practices. This experience has taught me the value of collaboration, dialog, and transparency so that we may best serve our students’ needs. While we continue to build on the work from this academic year, we can meet the academic needs of all our learning by educating our students’ minds, hearts, and spirits. Know that I am inspired by the sacrifices each of you make and we thank you for entrusting your children to our care.
In close, let us always be disciples with hope to bring as we continue to make God known, loved, and served. I ask for your prayers as I continue to pray for you and our students.
Yours in Christ, Our Teacher,
